Position Description

The Brand Manager will create and execute strategies to drive product launches, enhancements, and promote brand awareness and retention in alignment with overall company goals. This role is responsible for conducting product health assessments including comprehensive insights and recommendations that contribute to long term life-cycle planning. Experience and passion for skin care is necessary to successfully evaluate formulas and understand the technology and science that drives the efficacy of each product. This team member partners closely with cross-functional teams in R&D, Purchasing, Operations, Sales, and other Marketing functions to ensure timely planning, communications, and execution of activities to drive product development and launch plans. This manager also supports public relations activities in partnership with outside agencies to execute relevant campaigns that resonate with Revision’s physician partners and direct consumers.

Essential Duties and Functions
  • DCreate strategies for individual products that support the overall Revision Skincare strategy and align with life-cycle planning
  • Conceptualize impactful positioning for each product by analyzing the competition, target audience, product goals, brand strategy and needs of each Revision channel/audience
  • Build comprehensive go-to-market strategies for assigned products to ensure pricing, positioning, claims, packaging, timing, the audience, and marketing assets are accurate, competitive and being leveraged to gain market share
  • Create and conduct quarterly product health reviews and determine relative performance metrics for future tracking and guidance in life-cycle planning
  • Lead product life-cycle planning and execution to best leverage portfolio performance while adhering to overall commercial calendar goals and parameters
  • Work with the Sales, Digital, and Creative teams to develop effective B2B and B2C marketing campaigns
  • Identify market research needs and conduct research with partners, engaging external resources as needed
  • Develop forecast recommendations for new product launches, promotions, phase-outs, and other activities working with cross-functional partners to gain alignment
  • Coordinate functions and activities impacting products across multi-disciplinary teams such as Product Formulation, Clinical Science, Purchasing, Operations, Quality, Regulatory and Sales
  • Closely partner with the Program Manager to establish relevant activity durations and deadlines to successfully lead the entire product development cycle from conceptualization to launch
  • Align with the Sales team on initiatives supporting the brand or products including promotions, trade shows, trainings, or other activities as needed
  • Partner with other Marketing leaders to manage initiatives with external PR agency including media outreach and creative deliveries for new and existing products, paid media, and other campaigns to support brand awareness, education, and trial
      • Bachelor’s Degree (4-year degree) is required in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
      • Must have 5+ years actively leading all aspects of a brand and product line
      • Experience working directly with skincare, beauty, pharmaceutical, OTC drug and/or personal care products is required
      • Strong financial acumen to create and conduct product health and portfolio analyses
      • Ability to perform projects with minimal direction and independently manage daily assignments
      • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a track record for coordinating complex projects across cross functional teams
      • Solution and results-oriented personality balanced with sound business judgment
      • Outstanding organizational and project management skills to manage multiple complex projects at once
      • Ability to perform under pressure and adapt well when confronted with emergencies, escalating situations, and evolving priorities
      • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a root cause analysis mindset
      • Self-motivated professional able to thrive within a growing fast-paced organization
      • Proficiency in MS Office required with strong skills in PowerPoint to create impactful presentations and Excel to effectively perform portfolio analysis
      • Must have a passion for skincare
      • Estimated Travel: 25%
