What can I expect before, during, and after treatment?
Before Treatment
To get the best results, it’s important to prep your skin for 1–2 weeks prior to treatment. We recommend using D·E·J Daily Boosting Serum® and D·E·J Face Cream®, both included in our Procedure Prep & Recover Regimen. Be sure to apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily and discontinue use of products containing alpha, beta, or poly hydroxy acids, as well as retinoids. Always consult your healthcare provider to review any contraindications and confirm you're a good candidate.
During Treatment
You may feel mild to moderate sensations such as burning, itching, stinging, or tingling. Your skin may appear pink to red as layers are applied—this is normal and typically fades within 30 minutes. Most patients experience minimal downtime and enjoy visibly glowing skin immediately after treatment, returning to daily activities without interruption.
After Treatment
In the days following, your skin may feel slightly red, dry, tight, or itchy. Flaking or peeling is usually minimal and varies by skin type and condition. These effects—if present—typically begin around day 3 and resolve by day 7. Remember: the success of your treatment isn’t determined by how much your skin flakes or peels. If flaking occurs, avoid picking or pulling at the skin to support optimal recovery.
Who is a good candidate for this treatment?
This treatment is suitable for all skin types and tones seeking to improve firmness, elasticity, and luminosity—whether due to natural aging or changes related to weight loss medications, like GLP-1 or semaglutide.
However, it may not be suitable for those:
With very sensitive skin
With active cold sores
With allergies to any ingredients in the formula
Who are pregnant or nursing
Using prescription or OTC medications that are contraindicated

How many treatments are recommended?
We recommend a series of 3 treatments, spaced 2–4 weeks apart. To maintain results, a maintenance treatment every 4 months is ideal
Can this treatment be used on other areas of the body?
Yes! This treatment can be applied to areas such as arms, legs, knees, abdomen, and décolletage. However, it is not recommended for sensitive areas
